1. Scope
Orange Lion Studios develops and operates Battle Ocean. This policy explains how personal data may be processed through the game, its online services and battleocean.nl.
2. Data we process
Depending on the features you use, this may include your e-mail address, Google account identifier, commander name, secured password hash, account status, authentication and security events, device and technical diagnostics, game progress, inventory, battle results, rankings, missions, rewards, purchase verification records, rewarded-ad verification records, advertising identifiers and your advertising consent choices.
3. Why we process data
We use this data to create and secure accounts, provide online battles, restore active matches, calculate server-authoritative results and rewards, verify purchases and completed rewarded advertisements, prevent abuse and fraud, provide support, meet legal obligations and improve stability. Where required, advertising storage and personalised advertising are used only after the applicable consent choice.
4. Advertising and privacy choices
Battle Ocean uses Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements. Google and participating advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, advertisement interactions and diagnostics to deliver, measure and protect advertisements. In regions where consent is required, Battle Ocean uses Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting advertisements. When required, you can review or change your choice from Settings → Account → Privacy and Cookie Settings.
5. Website privacy
The public website contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking scripts. A language preference may be stored locally on your device. Following an external community link is subject to that provider's own privacy terms.
6. Service providers
Necessary providers may process limited data on our behalf, including hosting and infrastructure providers, transactional e-mail, Google Sign-In, Google Play services and Google AdMob. We do not sell personal data.
7. Security and retention
Passwords are never stored in readable form. Access controls, limited sessions, operational monitoring and server-side validation protect the service. Data is retained only as long as needed for service operation, security, legal obligations and legitimate dispute resolution.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. An account can be permanently deleted inside Battle Ocean through Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you no longer have the app, use the public Battle Ocean account deletion page. E-mail verification is required for the public flow.
Account deletion removes login credentials, Google identity linkage, commander profile, progression, balances, inventory, rewards, purchase-verification data and advertising-reward data. Finished shared battle records may remain only in anonymised form to preserve the other player's history. Limited security or legal records may be retained only where necessary for fraud prevention, security or a legal obligation and are no longer used as an active player account.
9. Children
Parents and guardians should review the applicable store age rating and supervise use where required by local law. We do not knowingly use the public website to collect personal data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when services, providers or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
